Delusion of an Anaesthesia

Posted on September 24, 2007. Filed under: Letters|Words|Thoughts |

a sensile kid, grew up in the place
where sand and salt water blends
youthful enthusiasm fills him inside out
a contagious smile, a happy soul

never thought he would lose himself
consumed by the molded emotion he thought was right
facing the new world lost and confused
nothing to hang on to but himself

healed from those scars
he learned to adapt, cutting through his old self
hiding the tears by a marquee of smile
ignoring sorrow

but sometimes sorrow can feel so good
sensing the tears as it tickles ur cheek
bitter taste as it passes ur lips
tracing veins as it crawls down your neck

thirsting to feel the feeling he wants
he recalled the pictures from his mind
one by one, he still remembers the misery brought by them
but his tears are just too hard to tame

no one has seen him cry for quite a time
tears aren’t his last resort
there are yet better days to come
as he took another step towards real happiness
or fall again within the delusion of an anaesthesia
